Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Nassar a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Nassar (actor). This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Amber Heard[edit]

I reverted your "former actress" edit to Amber Heard, which seems to me to be unsourced speculation. Wikipedia is a tertiary source that reports information found in reliable secondary sources. This is particularly important when the edit is controversial or regards a living person. Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Joe Maldonado, to Wikipedia. Doing so is considered vandalism and is prohibited. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Please do not create hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at Vita ugryzie. Doing so is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

Hello, Otis the Texan,
Please do not create articles because you are bored. This is vandalism and can lead to a loss of editing privileges. Why don't you create yourself a blog and you can put whatever you want on it and you don't have to worry about your work being deleted. Just a suggestion. Liz Read! Sockpuppet tagging[edit]

Hello, Otis the Texan,

Do not tag user pages stating that editors are sockpuppets based on your suspicions. This task is left to checkusers and SPI clerks. I don't tag these pages and I'm an administrator. Sometimes checkusers want to tag the user page, other times they don't want to give the sockpuppet extra attention. It's their call, not yours or mine.

If you have questions about editing on Wikipedia, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 02:17, 4 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for letting me know. However what these users are doing on the article about the German town of Tonisvort is unacceptable. Multiple users keep posting pictures of a guy named Amir Dumberger and Aboudi Abdullah and add them as if their pictures are flag and coats of arms of Tonisvort. They also keep writing that one of them is the mayor. Their vandalism of Tonisvort keeps getting undone, but without any of their accounts being blocked, Tonisvort keeps getting vandalized over and over. This has been happening since January. I simply don’t see any solution except getting them blocked and suspected of sock puppetry. If this doesn’t happen, Tonisvort will just continue getting vandalized for years and years. But as you were mentioning that it is not my or your job to suspect them of sock puppetry, would you be able to let a checkuser and SPI clerk know about this issue, so that the article about Tonisvort doesn’t just keep getting vandalized over and over and other articles also don’t get vandalized by them. Hello, This nonsense content was only meant to be temporary. I made my draft with the real content about the Nigerian town. I just thought it would creative and funny to have the nonsense version and the speedy deletion box in the page's view history. I was going to quickly remove the silly content and paste my draft, however the article was deleted before I could do that. I have since recreated the article but only the real and appropriate version, which is about the Nigerian town of Pindiga.--Otis the Texan (talk) 02:59, 2 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Pindiga moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Pindiga, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Liz Read! If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Leventio (talk) 02:50, 28 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Pindiga[edit]

Hello, Otis the Texan. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Pindiga".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 05:38, 5 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Otis the Texan,

Regarding this article, and others, we never would change a category based on projected changes in the future. So many things can happen between now and 2023, plans can change and expand or retract, funding can fall through, another company takes over the plan instead, we could have another pandemic and plans are delayed, lots of things can happen between the announcement of a business change and the plan actually occurring. And this doesn't have to do with the reliability of the source for the announcement but just the fact that situations can change drastically over time. This situation is not specific to this article, over even to businesses, but to all sorts of projected outcomes in articles. On music articles, for example, edit wars can break out over disputes about when an album is announced to be released and when it is actually released. You can read more about this phenomena at WP:CRYSTALBALL. Thank you! Liz Read! Talk! 21:32, 18 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
