Hi, Hassocks5489.

I was pleased to see your photo of the K6 phone booth outside St. Mary's in Shoreham. Would you happen to have a phone number for it (if it indeed remains a public phone box with a number)? I am setting up an Easter Treasure Hunt remotely, using Google Earth, and would very much like to enable a small boy to cause the phone to ring. I'd be grateful f you could reply to gordonink at gmail.com before April 2nd, 2015.

Bungaroosh

So you are Rob Fraser? You know Neil England. The article has a lot of inaccurate statements. Trains only arrived in 1841 so there were no railway sleeper to use, will you agree to a moderation based on fact? I have asked the head of Sussex IHBC to moderate. It would look much better if we worked together?

Hi, firstly I apologise for inappropriate comments.

I actually have retired to Japan so writing in UK time makes me a late nighter and perhaps a little too cranky!

I am asking three eminent persons to comment on the esteem Neil England is held in, in West Sussex and his reputation as the seminal expert on Bungaroosh. 1. Head of the IHBC West Sussex Area, 2. Curator of the Royal Pavilion and one other to be confirmed.

I am new at Wikipedia and after my newbie introduction I do not intend carrying on! Neil England has recently given a two and a half hour lecture at Kind Building Specialist on Bungaroosh, at which the IHBC attented, in the references under Bungaroosh he is the author of the PDF and other bits, ( under Regency Town house) could we use this as bonafide's?

The main problem is Rob Fraser was not an expert in this, we believe he has passed away. The hundreds of people who interacted with him when he was a planning officer know he was no building engineering or methods expert. Surely you want all want Wikipedia to be accurate?

The most important reason to take down the "did you know" comment about hosepipe and destroying buildings in Brighton is simple.

There has never been a collapse of a bungaroosh building ever.

The mix is lime concrete so like the Pantheon in Rome is gets harder and harder every year.

This fun fact is causing millions of pounds in insurance costs as the awful building insurers are quoting it, when asked by small flat owners why is it so high? So unusually Wikipedia is actually hurting people and given the hard times felt by all right now surely this should be mitigated as much as possible?
