Mendix page you reviewed[edit]

Hi Ca,

We had a discussion previously about the Mendix draft page you reviewed but look like those commens all gone now! In your latest comment, you recommened to look for more in-depth trusted sourced that cover what the company does. I have done some additional research and added more market-analysis-type of pieces from reputable publications.

You also were not sure whether Verdict is a reputable source. I'd say it is - it's a UK based publication with pretty big local followship and its parent company has a page on Wiki. The owner of this article I quoted is actually Verdict's owner itself (the GlobalData company) so I'd say it's a reputable third party opinion!

Let me know what you think. Thank you! Katherinegoose (talk) 16:38, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for the delay, I had not had the motivation to review this right now. The prior discussions may have been archived, try searching up mendix at the archives search box above.
It would also be good to get fresh eyes on the draft. When you are ready, feel free to resubmit Ca talk to me! 15:22, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

note re your idea[edit]

I totally support the idea that you suggested in your post below. is there a way we could get started on this, maybe by discussing some ideas and options for this? also if and when you reply. could you please ping me? thanks.

My proposal is to create a simple page in which new editors can say hi and other editors can greet them. It will introduce newcomers to our community and the concept of editing and communicating. I think being greeted and welcomed would create a warmer atmosphere and aid in editor retention. Korean Wikipedia has a space identical to my proposal Do you see any potential issues? What should the pagename be? From where should it be linked?

@Sm8900: I am happy that you liked my proposal! Since you want to help out, how about creating a draft page first? User:Ca/New Editors' Corner.
