Isn't the molecule shown in the picture β-hydroxyphenethylamine, rather than 2-HO-PEA (= o-HO-PEA)? - 92.4.6.253 (talk) 04:54, 24 October 2012 (UTC) you could call this 2-hydroxy-2-phenylethyl-1-amine but that's not IUPAC correct, 2-HO-PEA would mean ortho substituted to most people, also i don't think this is a useful precursor to methamphetamine, i think someone has it confused with it's alpha-methyl analog — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.47.51.228 (talk) 02:24, 22 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
