Removed american revolution since it's not a great example (previous government was not abolished, was in a semi-democratic form and the resulting government took a long time to form). 80.229.120.16 (talk)Maradaiaia —Preceding undated comment added 18:18, 29 January 2011 (UTC).[reply]

Hi. Just wanting to let you know I am planning on working on this subject for an assignment for school. I will be working on the exact definition and add information on the (non)violence part of the concept. Lisa.kok (talk) 14:38, 9 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Lisa.kok For the CP assignment, I was given the task to peer review your article. First of all, great work, it seems to address the subject with a neutral tone and is well substantiated. Though, i do want to emphasize on the fact that your article seems to take Tocqueville as the only point of departure. Perhaps, therefore, in the future for the introduction, multiple authors could be utilized. Also, it seems to have a prominent focus on socialism/communism/working class. Maybe put the topic in amore cross-sectional historically oriented hemisphere? Providing empirical evidence from multiple perspectives, including not only this (radically) left focus. Nevertheless, I am sure you have more in-depth knowledge on this topic, as I did not extensively did research on democratic revolutions. But from an outside perspective, these might be contributions to take into consideration. FefeliceUva (talk) 12:38, 15 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
